A new classroom at Prince of Peace School, Beni
Dedicated to Father Oliver Blanchette, who championed the school from its first groundbreaking. It still needs desks, chairs and school supplies.
We help children in the Democratic Republic of Congo go to school, and we fund the classrooms, wells and farms their communities need.
Every project is funded one donation, one fundraiser and one bag of cans at a time.

Today, families walk more than a mile to a dirty river for water. A well changes that for the whole village.

Run by a high school graduate whose education we sponsored. Neighbors work in return for a share of the produce, goats, chickens, rabbits and pigs.
Cover a child's school fees and supplies. Or give any amount to support the projects above.
You'll finish on PayPal's secure donation page. Kids in the Congo is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your gift may be tax-deductible.
Drop your redeemable bottles and cans at one of six bins around Sturbridge, Fiskdale and Brimfield, or let us come get them. We redeem every one, and the deposits go to the kids.
Kids in the Congo began in 2008 with members of St. Anne St. Patrick Parish. We provide tuition assistance for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, give uniforms, backpacks and school supplies, and help fund libraries, labs and classrooms.
We partner with the Augustinians of the Assumption (the Assumptionists), a religious order whose priests and brothers work in parishes throughout the Congo. We're also glad to speak at schools, churches and civic groups across central and western Massachusetts.

What we're building next, and why we're looking for a fundraising volunteer.
